This production takes us on a journey through the life of the Devadasis, the temple dancers of Orissa. These women practiced an earlier form of the dance we now know as Odissi. The grace and devotion of their lives and movements inspired the Odissi we bring to the stage now. Join us as we take a look at their lives through dance.
