DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual summer showcase! This year we present
  Dashavatar: the Evolution\; an Odissi dance program framing human evo
 lution through the lens of ancient mythic imagery. Inspired by Dashavata
 r—Vishnu's ten legendary incarnations on earth—this performance expl
 ores the surprising echoes between traditional fables and modern inquiri
 es into our collective past.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe program moves from the natur
 al world toward human life in unexpected ways\, blending classical Odiss
 i movement with abstract\, contemporary visuals. It is a unique explorat
 ion of how familiar stories parallel biological and social milestones\, 
 spotlighting creative voices and ideas from our emerging artists.\n\n\n\
 nIn the spirit of our past annual showcases\, this performance offers a 
 one-of-a-kind experience you won't see anywhere else in the DMV region.
